I recently stayed at Arenal Backpackers for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I highly recommend taking their half-day walking tour, which includes hiking up the volcano, bathing in the lagoon and hot springs, and enjoying a refreshing cocktail in the water. If you're looking to explore the Caribbean side without a long bus ride, the rafting tour is a must. The scenery was breathtaking, and they even provided breakfast and lunch. a wonderful stay with great amenities and friendly owners.

The pool was amazing, perfect for relaxing and cooling off after a day of exploring. The friendly staff at the restaurant made sure I never went hungry, and their dinner specials were a great deal. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to all the main attractions and a short distance from the city center. Plus, the helpful woman at the tour desk made sure I had all the information I needed to make the most of my stay.
The check-in staff were quite unhelpful and seemed disinterested in providing any information about the hostel. I had to ask for basic details like the location of the bathrooms and parking rules.

I had a good time meeting people at the hostel, and the common area was a great place to hang out. It had a youthful and friendly vibe. the location was perfect, just a short walk to everything that I needed to explore. I also enjoyed the swimming pool area which was very clean and nice.
The staff seemed to drag their feet when it came to opening the front door, which made for an awkward first impression. the laundry service was also quite overpriced, which dampened the great experienced I had.

Loved the delicious breakfast and friendly staff. The location was perfect with easy access to local attractions. The pool was clean and refreshing after a hot day of exploring.
The loud music from the bar was a bit too much for those wanting a quiet night in their tents. The beds were a bit creaky and not the most comfortable.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Firstly, the location was perfect as it was close to the center and many restaurants, making it convenient to explore the area. Secondly, the hotel had a beautiful garden which added to its charm. Lastly, the staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable, with some even offering a view of the Arenal Volcano. Additionally, the breakfast offered at this hotel was delicious and had good prices.
Although this hotel had many positive aspects, there was one thing that could be improved. The hotel should pay more attention to the security of the rooms, ensuring that the windows can be properly closed.

the location was great – it was very close to everything but still tucked away from the main park, so it was a bit more peaceful. I also liked that it was close to the town center, where there were plenty of good restaurants to choose from. Additionally, the hotel provided basic amenities such as rooms with a HD TV, private bathrooms, and even a view of Arenal Volcano. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were well-maintained. Finally, the breakfast offered at the hotel had good prices and was a convenient option to start the day.
All in all, everything was fine.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional service. the outdoor swimming pool, sun terrace and garden areas were beyond stunning, with sun loungers in the perfect spot to recline and soak up rays of sunshine. the room advantages were exclusive and made us feel like royalty! the restaurant and bar/lounge area were perfect for socializing and enjoying a delicious meal. We were so impressed with this hotel's location advantages, as it was conveniently located near many tourist attractions.
We found that the entertainment and leisure/TV room wasn't as comfortable as we would have liked.
